i love creative gifts, and received some very fun ones as shower and wedding gifts. this one is from my grandma, and yielded very tasty results! at my shower in june, each guest was asked to bring a favorite recipe to share with me, and my grandma got creative by coordinating her recipe with her gift! along with two adorable dish towels, she gave me a muffin pan, a recipe for pineapple muffins [a family favorite], and the non-perishable ingredients for the recipe! i made them within days of returning from our honeymoon, and let me tell you, they are good.
this recipe is really simple and only requires five ingredients!
and look how yummy those little guys look...i think i ate at least three in one sitting...
pineapple muffins

makes 10-12 muffins
ingredients: 2 cups Bisquick | 1 small [8 oz.] can crushed pineapple | 2 tablespoons melted butter | 1/2 cup sugar | 1 egg, beaten
directions: measure Bisquick, add sugar, pineapple [with juice], egg and butter | blend together until just mixed | scoop batter into muffin pan and bake in a 400 degree oven for 20-25 minutes | enjoy!
