diy oregon corkboard.

inspired by this diy project, via olivia's pinterest, i made this corkboard as an ode to my dear home state. i started with a corkboard square and a printed map of oregon, which i cut out after printing.
i placed the map (flipped) on the corkboard, and traced around it:

i then cut with a mat knife around the drawn edge:

and ta-da! done in less than 15 minutes.
and i added a little heart on my hometown, because portland will always have a place in my little heart.

xoxo.

oh I LOVE that! I will for sure be making that one. Since moving to Oregon I have been looking for something to make. I may even place it in a frame. Thanks so much!

So cool! I would love to do this for my home state! But Florida may not make a very practical corkboard! ;)

Seriously???! This is so so awesome! I think I just might have to do this soon. By the way, I'm headed to Portland next month. What would you recommend to see/do/eat?

your blog is absolutely adorable, and I love that you are in Oregon - best place ever. I'm going to have to try to make this bulletin board - so sweet.
