Have a great trip. My hubby and I moved to Iowa from Oregon (where we both lived our whole life) for grad school two years ago...it was the best thing for our marriage. And now we love a slower paced life.
So fun and what fun you will have! I have done a similar trip to that and just got back to LA from TX...your plan up the coast of CA is a beautiful drive so you will love it!
