my mother-in-law's best friend [since kindergarten!] opened up her beautiful home for our rehearsal dinner. i had such a wonderful night visiting with family and friends. what a great kickoff to a memorable weekend!

maryn gave quite an embarassing toast...recalling my eighth grade stubbornness when i insisted i would, regardless of what anyone said, wear white adidas t-mac basketball shoes on my wedding day. really, i almost bought them. thank goodness for dear friends who steered me clear of what could have been a very pointless middle school purchase.
