mr toastee is one of my most favorite wedding moments. it started back in june, when i was browsing online and ran across this guy...
meet mr. toastee. isn't he adorable? i couldn't resist. look, he has friends too...
whole wheat mr. toastee and rye mr. toastee. upon discovery, i asked my mom to make me one, but she, of course, was busy with other, more important, wedding projects, so i let it go. anyways, being that my family tends to avoid calling things by their correct name, we started calling the maid of honor toast "the mr. toastee." so when the time came, guess what my dear sister had for me to start off her toast...

then came the rest of her toast,which brought me to tears. her words were so genuine, so touching, so jen. or so juniebear, as i call her. like i said, we have a knack for renaming things...and people.
mr. toastee had a great night, and even joined us on our honeymoon. now he's sitting on my nightstand, and each time i see him i think of that moment. and i think of our sweet, sweet juniebear. and i think, i'll toast to that.
