i took to fall decorating this week, inspired by these fallish-yellow espresso cups and saucers i picked up at ikea last weekend.
so i'm pretty big on white dishes. i'm also happy to say that everything in the above photo, with the exception of the cups and saucers was a wedding or shower gift. and all from pottery barn. what a lucky girl i am!
i'm loving the fallish color of popcorn, so i used it in this three tiered stand with some mini espresso cups scattered throughout.
dishes are, at the moment, my preferred decoration item because of our limited cabinet space. so our dishes are sort of on a rotation system, otherwise we wouldn't be able to fit everything!
a little banner to welcome in the season...
i organized our leftover wedding fabric yesterday, and decided to keep the scraps in [of course] mason jars.
and in the kitchen window, my sweet little cupcake domes are doing double duty with some baby pumpkins.
to finish things off, one of our apartment neighbors is moving out and gave us this great rocking chair! i'd love to reupholster it someday, but it's in great condition for now and takes up the empty space we had in our living room!
and, it's the perfect home for my DIY napkin pillow.
xoxo.

Love, love, love! I want to organize everything in mason jars. I put buttons and spools of thread in mine right now, but I mean my home some day will have everything organized in jars lol. I'm a jar-a-holic. The fabric in the jars looks really nice, I think they even would be interesting to see as a wedding decoration on some of the tables.
I love the popcorn idea, I've never seen that and it looks great, I imagine it would look fun in some glass jars too!
