jeggings vs. calves

jeggings, left..............me, right.

so i have calves. big ones. they're known as "the browning family calves" around here.
and i think they're starting to take a toll on my wardrobe.
the flexing was totally unintentional, but it proves my point.
i've drooled over the look of skinny pants...

...but i've tried them on multiple times and come to the conclusion that they are my 21st century corset (aka i can't breathe in them). so up until now, i've only had visions of tucking my boots into my jeans. but i'm thinking it might be time to  give them another try. jeggings just might be the answer (or a complete disaster, i'm not entirely sure), or maybe just a nice straight cut that is tuck-worthy but not too tight.
suggestions welcomed.
xoxo.

Your calves are intense!!!!
I don't think you can do much about them :/
Unless you strength train them...then stop! Maybe Yoga could help lengthen them? I have no idea!

I am another gal with super legs (ie: calves. and thighs. and hips) and I've recently discovered that Charlotte Russe's "jeggings" are just denim jeans with extra extra spandex in them. I've been LIVING in them since I bought them - the waist band is super comfy, there's pockets in the back, they make my legs look super awesome - long and skinny at the same time (a tough fete). They're affordable, too. And the best part is that they feel like jeans, not like cotton leggings that are printed with a denim pattern on them.

Target also seems to have a similar pair. Both are around $20-$25.

if denim / khaki skinny jeans don't work, try cotton leggings (they are very stretchy and sure to fit your calfs...oh and comfortable). they aren't as versitile as skinny jeans but they are perfect under boots with a long shirt/sweater.

I've never tried Jeggings, nor do I think I would, but as for skinnies, I happen to live in them. I am not a skinny girl, I am normal, thinnish but by no means do I have thin branch legs. And I have great skinnies! That I can breath in... I found that Gap actually makes great skinnies (and they just came out with their cord skinnies that I LOVE), I also have a pair from Urban Outfitters (with a zipper at the ankle). In short, I say keep trying till you find your dream skinny, cause they are out there! Trust me :)
