made it: pumpkin spice latte cheesecake by sprinkle bakes

did anyone else see the amazing recipe that heather from sprinkle bakes posted yesterday for pumpkin spice latte cheesecake? it just so happens that a short PSL is my drink of choice at starbucks, so this recipe looked like a winner.
heather topped her cheesecake with some adorable powdered sugar stripes [seriously, go look at her photos!], but i decided to go for a pumpkin on mine!

yum, yum, yum. it was so very rich and tasty.
i asked landon if he thought it was too rich, to which he replied with full sass, "i'm actually a very rich guy already, so it doesn't matter."

oh, and i couldn't resist sharing a photo of our sweet and simple lunch below. landon comes home for lunch everyday, and i'm sure going to miss our pb+j time come november when i start working!

xoxo.

O Katie....... You can make that Pumpkin Spice Latte Cheesecake for me any time. I, too, am a very rich person. It really looks delicious. I'm on a Pumpkin Pie Yogurt kick right now. Yogurtland has that flavor and it's really yummy. And I like Starbucks' PSL as well. Enjoy the Fall. Eat more squash!

Ah, yours came out perfectly! I love that you went for the pumpkin motif. It is quite a rich and spicy cheesecake but we have to indulge sometimes, right?

Actually, I indulge a little too much. :)
