as i mentioned yesterday, my dear friend renee is here for the weekend! renee has super fun and creative handwriting, so my mom had her decorate a chalkboard for cookingthyme.

renee's handwriting was a big part of our wedding, too! she did all the writing for our invitations...
designed this awesome scroll for our family and wedding party to sign...
wrote the chalkboard drink labels...
and did the calligraphy on our marriage license!
...so it's no surprise my mom put her to work this weekend!
