one good party.

my thanksgiving weekend has already been filled with lots and lots of delicious food, wonderful family, and, most importantly, a redeeming turkey bowl victory. in it's 22nd year, the turkey bowl is a 2-hand touch family football game. but wait, that makes it sound much too nice. it's actually an all-out uncles vs. cousins throwdown in my parents' front yard. and yes, my dad marks the field and even brought in that nice "TURKEY BOWL XXII" logo this year. this game is serious business. i took care of the t-shirt design, and my sister got them printed. pretty intimidating if you ask me. each cousin's name is in between the yard markers.
don't worry, we had male cousins on our team too. pretty sure we couldn't have won it on our own.
 did i mention it's 2-hand touch?
how cute are my sweet cousins?
here's a good picture of the outcome [below].
final score: 46-14. a much needed win after the uncles defeated us last year.
we can thank martha for this idea...

we spent most of the afternoon at landon's house, and i took part in an intense gingerbread house contest.
and last but not least: food, baby, food.
[and if you read this post, rest assured that cream corn leftovers were secured.]
hope your holiday was lovely too.

xoxo.
