| gift wrap 2009 - white paper with brightly colored ribbons |
so my family has this thing. this thing where we coordinate all our wrapping paper and ribbons for christmas. i might regret admitting this, but it's quite a process, and we take it very seriously. we begin to develop a theme in early- to mid-november, and then do the necessary research, price-checking and purchasing to make sure our presents are stylin' come christmas day!
who said magazine-cover-worthy living rooms at christmas time aren't totally accessible?

| gift wrap 2007 - brown (and green paper) packages tied up with string (or ribbon)! |
anyways, it's time to start thinking of the wrap theme for 2010...
i'm really digging the sheet music gift wrap that pottery barn has in their most recent catalog (bottom right, with wide red ribbon):
i'm all about the sheet music, really.
but i'm also loving the galvanized buckets full of pretty packages...
would anyone care to cast their vote?

They're both really pretty, but I am such a sucker for anything galvanized. I covet that tree setting, I even love the little corners of burlap (is that burlap? muslin?) peeking over the lip of the bucket.
I'm trying to get my family to do something like this, but not all of them are as design-minded as I am lol.
I simply love that you and your family coordinate all your wrapping...too cool, and very appealing to the eye! :) I really like the sheet music idea...can't wait to see what you decide!
Liesl :)
Katie, our family's are so similar!! We coordinate paper according to who their for. Like my mom, dad, brother and I will all have a different paper, but they all go together so it looks pretty (: I love the sheet music! The last picture is also great. What a cute idea to fill the buckets with little presents. Maybe not practical...but sure is adorable (:
