i think one of landon's best qualities is that his jokes are unpredictable. or maybe i'm just gullible. hence, this conversation:
landon: i knew someone who got swallowed by a whale.
katie: you DID!?!? nooooo...wait, like jonah?
[landon laughs]
[katie realizes she fell for it once again]

HAHA Oh goodness. Too funny!
That IS too funny. Jonah is a running joke around our house because in college we had the great idea to do a bible study of the minor prophets which ended up being a big disaster. The story of Jonah was the highlight of it, really.
Ha! I had a very frank conversation with my Grandmother once about whether this story was true or not.
