friends! this trip is already turning out to be quite the adventure. i'm sorry to report that our car was broken into last night, and four bags were stolen, including my computer [which i luckily backed up a few weeks ago!], ipods and lots of clothes. we're doing just fine and getting everything taken care of, but it sure is a bit of a hassle. i'm so grateful i have landon with me, he keeps me calm in situations like this! i have a whole host of blog sitters coming up the rest of this week, so stay tuned. fingers crossed for better luck on the next few days of our journey!

Ack, Katie that's awful! How violating. :( I'm so sorry to hear this, but glad that you aren't letting it ruin your new adventure. Hope everything goes much more smoothly from now on.
