So Landon is really into small spaces, and he's slowly converting me to understand their charm. I recently stumbled upon this boathouse-turned-guesthouse by Bosworth Hoedemaker on Downsize My Space, (originally posted on Remodelista) and I fell in love!
It's right on the water with lots of natural light pouring in, and I love the simplicity of all-over wood.
xoxo.

PS. Today is my half-birthday! I'm all about celebrations, half or whole!

i LOVE small homes that are just beautiful. this one is divine! it's so fun to think about how to best maximize the space and make it home:) thanks for the inspiration!
My husband is the same way with small spaces! He always has a new one to show me. And they are always by the water :) I really like this one too! They're charming, aren't they?
Those sliding doors are amazing... and the view they open up to is even better! Gorg!
I am totally coming to visit when you move into that house! I love how the whole downstairs just opens right up to the water... killer views. Small spaces that are designed well are much better than super-sized spaces with no character or thought... I love this little place on the water.
LOVING this!!
I could definitely handle living that close to the water.
Dream come true.

I love it! Small spaces rock. Especially the ones in the BIG outdoors. I'll definitely be visiting you often... neighbor.
