As people across the East Coast recover from Hurricane Irene's crazy weekend, I'm thinking especially of a sweet town in Vermont. Landon and I spent our honeymoon in Wilmington, Vermont, a town of just a few thousand people. Normally the main street looks like the photos above, but over the weekend, it looked like this:

Here's to hoping this sleepy town recovers quickly, so others can enjoy it as much as we did.
We stayed at the beautiful White House Inn, a historic summer home turned country inn, complete with gorgeous balconies, individually decorated rooms and rickety hallways. It was the sweetest place, I'd love to go back for another week!

Fun! I've always wanted to visit Vermont. My Husband and I used to say we would retire to Vermont and make maple syrup.
