The end of the week has arrived, my friends. This week has been one of those weeks where you feel like you're walking around with a radiation vest on (you know the kind from the dentist's office?). Heavy, burdened, uncomfortable. But I know that God is shaping me. Shaping Landon. Shaping us. So I'm doing my best to trust. Trust seems to be an ever-present theme in my life. And while the week was hard, a few things really sustained me and had me thinking this week. Allow me to share (in no particular order):
1. Mumford & Sons Radio on Pandora.
2. Why the Cross? from Door of Hope.
3. The Pursuit of God by A.W. Tozer.
late add: 4. Ira Glass on Storytelling (and being a beginner).
Have a lovely weekend. Landon has his first away meet today in San Antonio, so he's gone until tomorrow night. I'll be keeping myself busy working on some upcoming lovelies for CookingThyme and TylerBright while indulging myself in all three hours and 19 minutes of Anne of Green Gables.
xoxo.

Just found your blog through Michaela's...my word.. the first thing I see is Mumford & Sons, The Pursuit of God, and Anne of Green Gables, so I'm already hooked and I haven't read anything else yet! tee hee! From that alone, we'd probably be best friends, so I'm sure I'll enjoy the blog. :)
I never get sick of Anne of Green Gables. Never :)
@Amy @cheche - It was super relaxing, the best kind! @Kerri - Ha! I'm glad you like what you see. Mumford, Tozer and Anne Shirley simply are the best. @Kelly - Me neither, I could watch it over and over!
