I was talking with my mother-in-law the other day, and she told me about these two great spots in Portland, which has me wanting to pack up and fly out there yesterday. Seriously though, pizza and ice cream straight from PDX? Yes, please. First up, Oven and Shaker, where every pizza sounds amazing.

And second, Salt & Straw, the new hip thing in Oregon dairy. I'd kill to try some of their Rocky Road with Honey Marshmallows and Candied Walnuts.

Now, who wants to fly me back?
