the anthology: gorgeous gifts.
I've been seeing some really pretty things on the interwebs lately, many of which would make the perfect gift! Here are some of my favorites...
A simple thank you of jam, bread and a tea towel from You Are My Fave
I love these two-toned wooden spoons from Anthro.
Did you see Alder & Co.'s adorable berry napkins featured on Design Sponge recently? In love.
This handmade soap gift set by FrogGoesToMarket on Etsy is a steal, and the packaging is gorgeous!
And lastly, how sweet is this tote from Oh Leander? I think I'd carry it everywhere.
What are your go-to gifts for friends and family?
xoxo.

the anthology: holiday nails.
I'm usually not one for fancy nails (because if I try to do them myself, they usually make my hands look like a 5-year-old's art project), but this year I'm all about shiny, shimmery things for the holidays. Nails included.

the anthology: holiday trees.
As I mentioned in my 12x2012 list, I'm trying to figure out an alternative Christmas tree option for the holidays. Since we won't be here for Christmas, it seems silly to spend money on a real tree, especially since we didn't have room to bring any of our decorations with us when we moved. Here are some ideas that I'm considering...
Okay, how amazing is this tree made out of ornaments? I'm in love. Not sure if I'm willing to spend the dough on all those boxes of ornaments, but maybe I can snag some on sale? We'll see.
I love this newspaper tree (from Martha, of course!), and I think it's my top choice so far. It would also be a little nod our college years when Landon and I were both studying journalism.
These pinecone trees are gorgeous, and would be pretty inexpensive I think. I love the idea of making a bunch of them and grouping them around the house.
Another paper tree beauty, this one is $48 at Anthro, but I think a DIY version would be pretty easy. I love that it's made with sheet music.
These ribbon trees are pretty clever...I think it would be fun to make a few and put them in our windows, like a little tree village!
And last but not least, another take on the newspaper tree. This would probably be the easiest option for us, since we already have metallic spray paint from our shiny pumpkins, and I love that you could still put presents under this one.
As always, a big thank you to Pinterest, my never-ending source of inspiration.
Which tree is your favorite?
xoxo.

the anthology: fall colors collected
May I present...the colors I'm 100% loving this fall. I know they're also 100% conventional, but can you blame me? Camel, deep orange and mustard will always have my heart!
Without further ado, the colors:
Woodsy (and Papery) Camel + Chocolate...
Rich Mustard...
Pumpkin Spice...
And a hint of GOLD...
What colors are you loving this fall?
xoxo.
P.S. Full disclosure: While I am loving fall, I have to admit that I compiled this post while listening to Michael Allen Harrison's Christmas Albums, which are really hard to keep stashed away once November comes (I promise his music is much better than his hair).
P.S.S. I'm also over here today.

the anthology: double letter, triple word {scrabble love}
Hi friends, and happy Thursday. Today I'm bringing you some scrabble love (I know, the scrabble thing is starting to get overdone, but I still love it). I'm inspired by words, letters and typography, so these projects have landed on a double letter, triple word (so to speak) in my book...
DIY Scrabble letter coasters by Intimate Weddings
Drink-themed Scrabble letter coasters by MadebyMarcy on Etsy.
Adorable Scrabble letter ornaments from My Sweet Savannah (these would be cute on a mantel too).
I love the red ribbon on these Scrabble letter ornaments from Christmas Your Way
Scrabble letter pillows (and a couch that looks like the tray!), via Freshome (designed by Stephen Reed)
I especially love these pillows by Counter Couture Design on Etsy.
How cute is this idea for the back of the bride and groom chairs? (via Green Wedding Shoes)
We even used them in our wedding... (photo by Yasmin Khajavi)
(our save the dates)
(our thank you cards)
Which Scrabbly idea is your favorite?
