the setup.

Our alternative to the wedding "arch." Read more about it here.
I'm posting twice today because I feel like I've got so much to share! One of the most convenient parts of our wedding was that it all took place in my parents' front yard, so no food had to be transported and we were able to set up at our own pace.
I absolutely LOVED seeing every thing come together. It was like all of the thoughts and plans that went into the day were finally coming to life. I think that's when it all started to feel real.
The completed setup:

A display of our parents' and grandparents' wedding photos. Read more about this here.
And when it was time for the festivities to start, I felt relaxed, blessed and so in love.
The head table
Lawn games were a must.
And a HUGE thanks to our setup crew!! Kari, Eric and Nicole were a huge help!
Coincidentally, they've all been a part of some big weddings this summer! Check out Kari + Eric's sweet Southern California wedding here, as well as Nicole's sister's big day in Essex, Mass (gotta spread the wedding love, right?).
This is one of my all-time favorite shots from Yasmin Khajavi:
A huge thanks to anyone who moved a chair, strung the lights, put up a table, rinsed a dish, folded a napkin, or set a place setting. We couldn't have done it without you.

xoxo.
